Crossfit New Beginning

CrossFit New Beginning has been operating in Castle Hill, Sydney since March 2012. Our fantastic training facilities have been specifically designed and set up to help you achieve your health, fitness and wellbeing goals. With the help of our highly skilled and qualified coaches, you can start your New Beginning today!

 

 

Our Facility

Our facility is decked out in high performance equipment from a 15m rig double sided rig, 4 weightlifting platforms, climbing ropes, strongman equipment and much more. Not only is our facility top of the line, but our specifically designed programs allow us to remove the monotony associated with the same old workouts, day in and day out and keep it interesting so you WANT to keep coming!

Class Timetables

ACTIVE

ACTIVE is suitable for anybody and everybody wanting to move functionally and improve their physical fitness. This program balances a regime of cardio, mobility, isolated movements and resistance training.  It mirrors all the benefits of CrossFit, but without the technicality of complex movements. The structure, comprehensive nature of the ACTIVE prescription will support you on your journey to become fitter, leaner, stronger and functional.

ATHLETIC

The core principles of CrossFit underpin the ATHLETIC prescription, enhancing their General Physical Preparedness (GPP) for function and sport. A vast range of strength, gymnastic, power, endurance, agility, balance, stamina, flexibility, co-ordination and accuracy movements and skills are prescribed so as to facilitate balanced growth in physical development and athletic performance. Opportunities to improve and acquire challenging movements are embedded in the programming each week.

TEENS

A program designed for teenagers. The program looks to install fundamental movement patterns in young adolescents in order to teach them from an early age the importance of posture, skills, agility and coordination. The program follow similar training principles as the adults classes but with lower loads. The teenagers can look forward to learning the fundamentals of lifting and gymnastics skills in these classes.

WEIGHTLIFTING

The weightlifting program revolves around increasing strength, power, speed, skill and coordination. A main focus of the prescription is the integration of accessory lifts such as squats, deadlifts and presses, which facilitate improvement in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk lifts. Highly qualified weightlifting coaches are on hand 5 days a week to guide beginner, intermediate and advanced lifters through the daily program.

GYMNASTICS

This program is designed to work on core, skill, and coordination. Your pound for pound strength will dramatically increase as a result of this program. If you are someone looking to conquer first pull up or muscle up, or develop confidence in the handstand position, then this is the program for you. Skills progressions to such as kipping, handstands, ring work and bar work are integrated in this program.

PERSONAL TRAINING

We offer 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 Personal Training sessions for individuals who wish to have more personalised catered exercises program for a specific goal. The personalised approach allows an individual to work closely with a coach focusing on nutrition, lifestyle and exercise to achieve complete wellness.

Matt Baiteri CFNB

Matt Baitieri - Founder


Sport has always been a huge part Matt's life. When he was younger he suffered two knee ACL ruptures. As a consequence of these injuries, he decided to dedicate his life to sports performance and rehabilitation of injuries. In 2009, Matt became a personal trainer. After several years of working at various gyms, gaining valuable experience, he decided to start CrossFit New Beginning. When Matt's not at the gym, he can usually be found on a golf course somewhere!

Nolan Cody CFNB

Nolan Cody - Head Performance Coach & Programmer


Nolan has a diverse and extensive education in exercise performance, strength and conditioning that has been developed over 10 years of industry experience. He has competed and trained at National and State levels in athletics, ice hockey and swimming since the age of 13 and incorporates this vast depth of hands on experience into his coaching style. Nolan is a student of the OPEX coaches certification program and continues to expand his knowledge in all areas of physical performance. If Nolan isn't coaching a class he will be in the gym training himself, or doing joining the other members for a workout… or eating, two of his favourite activities!

Nolan's qualifications include:

Emily Metcalf CFNB

Emily Metcalf - Coach


Emily has always been involved in team sports, playing cricket, basketball, volleyball, netball and touch football, at a school rep level. Emily has been playing netball for over 8 years, and enjoys playing at a competitive level. When Emily left school, she was searching for a team/group environment where she could be pushed further. That's when she found CrossFit.

Emily's qualifications:

  • CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Course
  • AUSTSWIM Accredited Swim Teacher
  • Senior First Aid and Resuscitation Cert
  • Currently studying Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science

 

Vanessa Kerr CFNB

Vanessa Kerr - Head Weightlifting Coach


Sport has always been a big part of Vanessa's life. Competing in athletics and netball at a national and state level since the age of 12. She was introduced to CrossFit and Weightlifting later on in life when she joined Locus Strength and Conditioning. She now competes in 69kg division for NSW and Qualified for the Masters Nationals in Hobart 2016. She loves the challenge of weightlifting and is passionate to teach others.

Vanessa's qualifications:

  • Australian weightlifting federation level 1 coach
  • Cert lll and lV in Fitness
  • Master Trainer
  • Senior first aid and resuscitation cert

 

 

Fabian Garcia CFNB

Fabian Garcia - Coach


Fabian started his fitness career in Dubai over 7 years ago. He's always been an active person from a young age taking part and representing his school or district in various sports. His desire to keep active has always been a priority for him. CrossFit has always been of interest to him, he enjoys the variety and camaraderie the sport brings. A desire to bring up his twin girls closer to family and friends has brought him back home to Sydney. Fabian will always be there to help and encourage you to get the work done.

Fabians's qualifications:

  • Cert III and IV in Fitness
  • ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning
  • First Aid and Resuscitation Certificate
